Data describing the scope of childhood obesity and overweight and its related conditions in Greater Kansas City are limited. However, recently, data describing the scope of childhood obesity has been made available through a report provided by Score 1 for Health.
A first of its kind, this report details screening results from Score 1 for Health's 2005-2006 school year with a particular look at BMI trends over a four-year period on children in the Greater Kansas City metropolitan area.
